Brocade in partnership with HPCC Systems offers High Performance Computing Cluster (HPCC) technologies to Commercial and Government clients. To meet the requirements of data-intensive computing applications, HPCC Systems from LexisNexis Risk Solutions utilizes Brocade networking solutions to interconnect its High-Performance Computing (HPC) clusters. With their completely non-blocking architecture and line-rate performance, the Brocade network solutions help optimize application performance for HPCC Systems.
In particular, Brocade MLXe Routers enable HPCC Systems to deliver unparalleled performance on a network that requires both high capacity and a flexible network infrastructure to handle the long-lived flows and massive levels of “Big Data” generated by users.
HPCC Systems offers a proven, data-intensive supercomputing platform designed to help enterprises process and deliver Big Data analytical problems. As an alternative to Apache Hadoop and mainframe-based offerings, HPCC Systems provides a consistent data-centric programming language, two processing platforms, and a single architecture for efficient processing. The Roxie cluster provides separate high-performance online query processing and data warehouse capabilities.
