FLEXIBLE REPORTS VIA WEB PORTAL

Brocade NMS provides a secure portal via the Brocade extranet for customer access to a wide variety of real-time and historical data and highly flexible reports that detail network health and performance, including trending information for resource optimization and capacity planning. The NMS portal also contains information on open, in-process, and closed events (or Service Requests) and network inventory, giving customer’s access to all Brocade information in a single pane of glass.

DIRECT NETWORK CONNECTIONS

You can securely connect to the NMS network in two ways: via the Internet using existing or new customer-side ISP service, or via private network using MPLS private lines. Brocade will work with you to develop other types of network monitoring connections if required.

Brocade NMS utilizes a multi-layered hardened security design, including:

3DES encryption with shared key authentication between NMS and client sites
Customized access lists on both ends of the client connection
Proxy firewalls that work at the application layer above layer 3 or 4
Hardened operating systems with strong authentication supporting all internal applications
