Returns and Warranties

You can return products to Brocade by submitting a request through one of the following online forms.

A Brocade representative will contact you with an RMA number and shipping address.

Reference the RMA number on every container that you ship and in all shipping documents

(Note: If the RMA number is not referenced, the shipment will be refused.)

Additional Information Required When Returning M-Series Products

If you require emergency parts for former McDATA and CNT products, please have the following information available when you contact Brocade Support at support@brocade.com:

  • Serial number(s) on equipment or software OR
  • Network ID number (such as ABCD-0100), AND
  • Name of your extension storage networking product AND
  • Nodes you are working on AND
  • Location of your extension storage networking equipment

Easy-to-Follow Steps for Returning M-Series Products

  • Use the disposable grounding wrist strap when packing and handling electronic part(s).
  • Reuse the original packaging material to return electronic parts.
  • Affix the shipping label to the outside of each package
  • Refer to the RMA number on every package that you ship and in all shipping documents.
  • Ship materials to: Returns, Attn: [RMA number], 6000 Nathan Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55442, USA

Cable Management Warranty Information

For warranty support on the Brocade Cable Management solutions, contact the applicable vendor as outlined below:

Corning Cable Systems

Corning Cable Systems (CCS) provides a limited 25 year warranty on its fiber optic structured cabling solution provided that the system is installed by CCS certified installers. Corning will then guarantee to repair or replace defective product for 25 years following installation acceptance provided the defect arises from faulty components or original installation.

Splice

Splice will provide a full 25 year warranty on its fiber optic structured cabling solution provided that all component parts of the system are Splice products and the system is installed, commissioned and tested by Splice engineers or Splice approved engineers.
