The Brocade 200E Combines Utility, Flexibility, and Performance
The
4 Gbit/sec Brocade 200E Switch combines breakthrough performance and flexibility, enabling greater price/performance value for entry-level SANs. With Ports on Demand functionality, the Brocade 200E lets you non-disruptively scale to configurations of 8, 12, or 16 ports.
The 4 Gbit/sec Brocade 200E also sets a new performance standard for entry-level switches. Because it can operate at 1, 2, or 4 Gbit/sec Fibre Channel speeds, the Brocade 200E integrates easily into your existing IT infrastructure as a small standalone SAN or as an edge switch in larger SANs. The Brocade 48000 Features 256 4 Gbit/sec Ports for enterprise SANs
With its fifth-generation Brocade architecture, the
4 Gbit/sec Brocade 48000 Director builds on field-proven technology to provide the high performance, availability, and reliability required in enterprise SANs. It scales non-disruptively from 32 to as many as 256 4 Gbit/sec full-duplex ports in a single domain for increased flexibility.
The Brocade 48000 supports the most data-intensive applications through enhanced ISL Trunking, which provides a single, logical trunk running at up to 32 Gbit/sec. Dynamic Path Selection (DPS) augments ISL Trunking to further optimize fabric-wide performance while ultra-high-availability characteristics make the Brocade 48000 a safe choice for mission-critical environments.
The Brocade 48000 integrates with open systems and IBM zSeries server environments, providing FICON support for intermix mode, cascaded fabrics, 1 and 2 Gbit/sec FICON speeds, and Control Unit Port (CUP). Its forward-thinking architecture is also designed to integrate blades that support inter-fabric routing and IP protocols.
