Brocade 4 Gbit/sec Fibre Channel HBAs provide reliable, high-performance server connectivity for mission-critical SAN environments. The HBAs are capable of performing 200,000 IOPS and delivering 800 MB/sec of throughput, making them ideal for today's data-intensive storage applications.
The combined high performance and proven reliability of a single-ASIC design makes these HBAs ideal for connecting servers to SAN fabrics based on Brocade Fabric OS or Brocade M-Enterprise OS. A single-channel model and a dual-channel model each feature full-duplex Fibre Channel ports capable of operating independently at 4, 2, or 1 Gbit/sec speeds.
Flexible Operating System and Server Support
Brocade offers broad operating system support, including driver support for Windows, Linux, Solaris, and VMware 3.1 (coming Q407). The HBAs also support multiple server platforms — including the IA32 (x86), Intel EM64T, AMD64, and Sun SPARC — that support the PCI-Express bus.
