All partners in the Brocade Alliance Partner Network are required to:
- Demonstrate added value to end user customers and prospects.
- Invest in Brocade skills development.
- Have at least two SAN Certified Systems Engineers on staff. Recognized SAN certifications include Brocade BCFP, BCSD, and BCSM certifications (Alliance Partners qualify for EMC, HP, and IBM SAN certifications).
- Engage in end user customer demand-generation activities.
- Have Brocade switch and product demonstration capabilities.
- Manage post-sales support situations with end user customers.
- Provide end user customers with a basic level of network and SAN design support.
- Build and maintain a thorough understanding of Brocade product features, customer benefits, and marketing programs through the use of the Brocade Partner Network and through interactions with Brocade Partner Development Representatives and Brocade Distributors.
