Since Fall 2003, Brocade Education Services has adhered to an Integrated Learning methodology for our core courses. Our Integrated Learning model combines classroom training with new bundled web-based training modules which serve as pre and co-requisites to the core - Instructor Led - component. The key to Integrated Learning is in selecting the right combination of media that will drive the best learning composite and maximize a learner-s time. At Brocade Education we have moved some of the foundational material to a web format, where lecture material is supplemented with tests, demos and fundamental knowledge transfer. This then allows our Instructor Led classes to become more condensed and have a heavier focus on hands-on interactive labs.

Our Integrated Learning/Instructor Led curricula is offered at all our facilities worldwide. Each of our training facilities has a classroom and a hands-on laboratory. Enrollment is open for all courses. Brocade Education limits course sizes to ensure the courses can give learners personal attention and accommodate a diversity in backgrounds.

For greater flexibility, Brocade offers an extensive catalog of web-based training. Our expansion into this area comes as a direct request from customers who wanted to see training that was ‘just in time-, and would allow them to continue to acquire job related knowledge whilst corporate travel budgets were being cut. Our web-based training offerings allows learners to eliminate travel and travel costs. Learners can conveniently participate from any computer with an internet connection and a web browser. Our web classes combine self study activities, lectures, demos and increasingly, simulations, that learners can perform on their own, at their own pace. These hands on simulations that can be found in our newer classes allow each learner to what it feels like to work directly with Brocade products from the comfort of their own desk. In addition, end of course and embedded tests assist in reinforcing the key knowledge shared, and helps to make our training a memorable learning experience.

Brocade Education is able to bring training to your facilities. Onsite training is for many companies a more economical option since there is less travel time, less time away from the job, and at the same time means there is no need for air travel and high accommodation costs. Onsite training opportunities mean that you can customize the curriculum to fit the specific needs of your organization and in addition, our expert instructors can answer very specific questions about company projects without compromising confidentiality that could not be shared in an open, public class. Our onsite classes are particularly cost effective for groups of 10 or more.

Then take advantage of our Virtual Classroom training methodolgy. Our Virtual Classroom learning methodology is an on-line classroom environment that provides the technical training and knowledge you need by combining the benefits of a live instructor with the convenience of taking the course from anywhere. Learning in this way combines the best of classroom learning with the best of online learning as it features a "live" instructor-led training option over the internet. The advantages of this delivery method are as follows:

This cost effective method of learning brings the learning experience right to your desktop. Travel costs and extended time away from the office associated with typical classroom learning are eliminated.
