Brocade Security Advisory
Incomplete blacklist vulnerability in the servlet filter restriction mechanism in WildFly (formerly JBoss Application Server) before 10.0.0.Final on Windows allows remote attackers to read sensitive files e.g. web.xml on the Brocade Network Advisor server directory by typing additional special characters in the URL pointing to the Brocade Network Advisor server.
Only Brocade Network Advisor with Wildfly application servers running on Windows operating systems are affected. Brocade has fixed known issues with the Servlet filter restriction mechanism. The patch releases have been posted to the MyBrocade web portal. Brocade strongly recommends that all customers running impacted version(s) install the patch.
Products Confirmed Not Vulnerable
Brocade Fabric OS, Brocade AMP, Brocade Network Advisor versions running on Linux, Brocade Network OS are not vulnerable. No other Brocade products are affected.
· Brocade recommends restricting access to the Brocade Network Advisor server only from the trusted network.
