The Brocade 4900 Switch claimed the Big Bytes award for the best storage networking product in the SAN category. The award is determined by a panel of Byte and Switch editors and an independent advisory board drawn from across the industry.

InfoStor MVP Award for the Brocade 48000

For the second straight year, Brocade technology was recognized as "best of the best" in the annual InfoStor MVP award list. This year, the Brocade 48000 Director was named MVP for the Networking Equipment by InfoStor as a result of end-user support for the product. The MVP award is heavily determined by storage end users, including 38,000 InfoStor readers and more than 2000 members of the Association of Storage Networking Professionals (ASNP). Readers and members selected the 48000 over nominated solutions from McDATA, QLogic, Riverbed Technology, and Tacit Networks.
