Brocade has designed a comprehensive global Total Compensation Package designed to provide all of our employees worldwide with a variety of value-added programs and services. At Brocade, Total Compensation is a combination of base pay, incentives (bonus program and recognition awards), stock and benefits. Given Brocade's aggressive objectives, the competitive environment, and the need for high levels of performance, the following are key components of our compensation philosophy:

Compensation
Brocade believes strongly in rewarding performance. We offer a competitive cash compensation program, which includes base pay, and variable compensation for all employees, quarterly bonuses, commissions for sales personnel. To support our competitive, performance-based pay practices we make every effort to ensure that our salaries are both externally competitive and internally equitable.

Bonus Program
Brocade has an extensive Quarterly Incentive Program designed to focus the efforts of employees and managers toward achieving predetermined, specific goals and objectives that are of critical importance to the success and future of Brocade. Bonuses are paid out quarterly based upon corporate goal achievement, individual objective achievement, and financial target achievement. ALL non-commissioned employees are eligible to participate in this competitive bonus program.

Stock
Brocade offers employees the opportunity to become shareholders in the company
  • Common stock option grants are provided to employees.
  • The Employee Stock Purchase Program allows employees the opportunity to purchase stock at a discounted price of 85 percent of the lesser of the fair market value of the company's stock at the beginning or end of the offering period. Employees may purchase these shares through payroll deductions of up to 15 percent of pay.
Benefits
