Chief Executive Officer
Michael Klayko, Chief Executive Officer

Michael Klayko was named Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Brocade Board of Directors in January 2005. As CEO, he is responsible for the company's vision, strategic direction, and operational management.

Klayko has more than 30 years of experience in the storage, computer, and telecommunications industries. Previously he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Brocade with responsibility for global sales activity and the development of programs designed to increase sales force effectiveness and support key partner relationships. He also served as the Vice President of Marketing and Support and Vice President of OEM Sales.

Klayko joined Brocade in January 2003, following the acquisition of Rhapsody Networks for which he served as CEO and President. Prior to working at Rhapsody Networks, Klayko was Executive Vice President at McData, where he managed the company's internal operations and drove business development and marketing strategies. He also held positions at EMC, HP, and IBM after beginning his career at Docutel and TRW.

Klayko has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Ohio Institute of Technology.

Chairman
Dave House, Chairman

Dave House is Chairman of Brocade and a member of the Brocade Board of Directors. Before joining the Board in 2004, House most recently served as Chairman, President, and CEO of Allegro Networks. Prior to that, he served as President of Nortel Networks Corporation after it merged with Bay Networks, Inc., where he was Chairman of the Board, President, and CEO. House also spent 22 years as an executive at Intel, including 13 years managing Intel's Microcomputer businesses. Prior to Intel, House held various engineering positions in the minicomputer industry.

House has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston. He currently serves on the board of one other public company and is involved with several Silicon Valley community organizations.

Brocade Divisions
Hugues Meyrath, General Manager of the Services, Support, and Solutions Division

As General Manager of the Services, Support, and Solutions Division, Hugues Meyrath is responsible for developing and executing the company's unique customer-focused programs. He joined Brocade in 2003 and has served in a variety of managerial roles.

Prior to Brocade, Meyrath was responsible for Business Development activities at Quantum Corporation's Storage Solutions Group, worked as a research analyst covering the storage industry for Credit Suisse First Boston, and also held management and business development positions at Read-Rite Corporation.

Meyrath holds BS degrees in Engineering and Business from the University of Louvain (Belgium), and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley.

Luc Moyen, Vice President and General Manager of the Server Division

As General Manager of the Server Division, Luc Moyen is responsible for driving the company's embedded switch and server connectivity strategy. Moyen's career spans over 22 years of product development and marketing in leading companies such as IBM, Seagate/Conner, and Maxtor/Quantum. His experience ranges from hardware and software design/test to manufacturing operations and quality engineering.

Prior to Brocade, Moyen held senior-level positions in reliability engineering and quality at Maxtor/Quantum. Before that, he set up all manufacturing test processes for TeraStor by working closely with CM partners, and modernized operations across all OEM qualification laboratories at Seagate Technology. Moyen began his career at IBM Corporation, where, among other things, he led a manufacturing line startup in Brazil.

Moyen holds a Masters and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Guru Pangal, Vice President of the Files Division

As Vice President of the Brocade Files Division, Guru Pangal is responsible for the daily operations of the company's file-based business unit. Prior to this role, he served in other executive positions at Brocade. Pangal has more than 20 years of industry experience, where he has held executive management, consulting, and engineering positions at industry-leading technology companies—and where he helped pioneer the early development of Fibre Channel and SCSI technology.

Prior to Brocade, Pangal was the founder and Vice President of Engineering at Rhapsody Networks. He was also the founder of Rhapsody Systems Inc, as well as a co-founder and Vice President of Engineering at Starcom Technologies.

Pangal has an MS in Computer Science from Utah State University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Management from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, India, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from JNT University, India.

Ian Whiting, Vice President and General Manager of the Data Center Infrastructure Division

As General Manager of the Data Center Infrastructure Division, Ian Whiting is responsible for defining and executing the company's backbone, switch, director, distance extension, and management application strategy. This division includes the company's traditional family of SAN solutions.

Whiting joined Brocade in 2001 as Executive Director of Partner Sales EMEA and was promoted to Vice President of EMEA and Latin America, where he was responsible for Brocade sales operations, growth, and profitability throughout the region. Prior to Brocade, Whiting was Director of Compaq StorageWorks EMEA. He was also Vice President EMEA for networking hardware company NetWorth and held executive management positions at Canadian software company Cognos Inc. and UK networking distributor Data Translation.

Whiting has a BS in French and German from the University College Swansea and an MS in European Business Studies from the Cranfield School of Management.

Executive Team
Tom Buiocchi, Vice President of Worldwide Marketing

As Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Tom Buiocchi is responsible for developing and executing the company's product and marketing strategies. He manages all external communications and is responsible for supporting the expanding ecosystem of industry partners in applications, training, and certification.

Buiocchi, who has 20 years of experience in marketing and strategic management for leading technology companies, was Vice President of Marketing at Rhapsody Networks, and joined Brocade when it acquired Rhapsody in November 2002. He previously was Vice President of Marketing at Peakstone Corporation and Vice President of Marketing at Apex, Inc. Before that, he held marketing positions at HP and IBM. During 11 years at HP, he worked in executive marketing and strategy positions, including managing international marketing operations in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Buiocchi holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Union College.

Richard Deranleau, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Richard Deranleau has responsibility for the company's financial processes and reporting. Deranleau joined Brocade in June 2003, and served as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Treasurer of Brocade before being named CFO in May 2006.

Before joining Brocade, Deranleau served in various executive management positions from 1992 to 2003 for Polycom, Inc., including Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Prior to Polycom, he held various accounting and finance positions at Tandem Computers and Coopers and Lybrand, LLC.

Deranleau is a CPA for the State of California and holds a BS in Economics from Iowa State University and an MBA from San Jose State University.

T.J. Grewal, Vice President of Corporate Development

As Vice President of Corporate Development, T.J. Grewal is responsible for developing and managing strategic Brocade corporate initiatives, including M&A, alliances, key business initiatives, and the Brocade investment portfolio.

Before joining Brocade, Grewal worked with McKinsey & Company advising software, semiconductor, and consumer hardware clients as part of the company's High Technology Practice. Prior to joining McKinsey, Grewal was a senior manager in Ernst & Young's technology practice.

Grewal holds an MBA from McMaster University and a BA from York University, both in Canada.

Bonnie Helton, Vice President of Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources, Bonnie Helton brings nearly two decades of management experience to the company. In this role, Helton has worldwide responsibility for the company's human resources functions, including workforce development and organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and staffing. Her key focus is driving a performance and development culture at Brocade that covers all of its people processes - from hiring and on-boarding to managing, rewarding, and developing its talent.

Helton joined Brocade in 2004 as Director of Human Resources. Prior to Brocade, she held leadership positions in human resources management at Sun, Portal Software, Procket Networks (a startup acquired by Cisco), and Pacific Bell/AT&T.

Helton has a BA in Sociology from California State University at Long Beach.

Raymond Lee, Vice President of Operations and Information Technology

As Vice President of Operations and Information Technology, Raymond Lee is responsible for the company's global supply chain and IT operations. Supply chain operations include order fulfillment, component sourcing, manufacturing strategy, and logistics. IT operations include technology solution delivery, development, and data center operations.

Before joining Brocade in 2001, Lee held various senior leadership positions in IT, operations, professional services delivery, and product management at companies such as Walker Digital, IT Solutions (now known as Keane), and Ingersoll-Rand.

Lee holds a BS in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Wisconsin as well as an MS in Computer Science and an MBA in Finance and Operations from Indiana University.

Dave Stevens, Chief Technology Officer

As Brocade CTO, Dave Stevens is instrumental in driving the company's technology strategy as it expands its role in the evolving enterprise network market. Stevens has over 20 years of experience in the enterprise networking, security, compute, and data storage industries. Most recently he was Founder and CEO of Palo Alto Networks, a privately held company that developed next-generation firewall products. Prior to that, Stevens was a partner at Foundation Capital.

Stevens previously served at Brocade from 2003 to 2004 as the Vice President and CTO of Brocade Transport Systems, having joined Brocade through the acquisition of Rhapsody Networks, where he was Vice President of Business Development. Prior to that, Stevens served in senior management positions at Atmosphere Networks, Nortel (Bay Networks/SynOptics Communications), and Microdyne.

Stevens holds both a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.

Tyler Wall, Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary

As Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Tyler Wall is responsible for all aspects of the company's legal department functions, practices, and policies. His executive experience includes a focus on technology licensing and distribution agreements; mergers and acquisitions; financing; commercial transactions and agreements; domestic and international corporate affairs; and public company reporting.

Prior to Brocade, Wall served at Chordiant Software, Inc. as Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary. Before that, he worked at Oracle Corporation as Corporate Counsel for the Commercial Licensing and Distribution group in Oracle's Legal department.

Wall has a BS in Economics from the University of Utah, a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law, and an MBA from Santa Clara University School of Business.
